Choose when the flow starts
A start condition determines which message, comment, or event should start the flow.

What is a start condition?
A start condition answers this question: “What must happen for this flow to run?”
- The user sends the word “price” in a direct message.
- The user comments under a specific post.
- The user replies to a story.
- The user comments during a live session.
How do I configure it?
- 1
Open the Start section while editing the flow.
- 2
Choose the event type, such as direct message or comment.
- 3
If needed, choose the keyword or posts where the flow should work.
- 4
Think of a sample message or comment and check whether your settings would start the flow for it.
Do not make the condition unnecessarily strict
If you want to reply to every comment, do not add a keyword condition. If only the comment “price” matters, specify that. Every extra condition increases the chance that a real user message will miss the flow.
